Manarat Al Saadiyat, part of the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, is organizing Remix International, an event that offers aesthetic concept of cultural diversity in the UAE community.

The three-day event will feature a rich program of diverse cultural activities and workshops at Manarat Al Saadiyat.

Remix International, in collaboration with various embassies and a number of partners, provides visitors with interactive experiences that form a panel of cultural heritage blended with modernity, with selected activities, art workshops, various performances, as well as panel discussions and international cuisine.

Fatima Al Yousuf, Head of the Program and Community Participation at Manarat Al Saadiyat, said: “Remix International highlights the rich diversity of Emirati society, a platform that celebrates the cultural diversity of different peoples in an innovative and contemporary style.

The event also explores the future of Emirati handicrafts through a screening and discussion session with the Al Ghadeer Handicrafts Corporation of the UAE, and the exhibition «East to East», which is the first exhibition organized by the photographer Mustafa Almstb in the Middle East, and combines Moroccan heritage with Western allusions in the artistic representation of interaction Intercultural organization of photography studio. The "Spinning of the Veins: A New Eye on Palestinian Embroidery" is a virtual reality design presented in partnership with the Palestinian Museum and represents an artistic experiment aimed at creating a new critical approach to Palestinian embroidery and its historical and contemporary connotations.

During the event, artworks such as TaxiFon, a design offered by the Confused Arab platform, will be on display to highlight a social venue that was once a point of contact with the world. In addition to a panel discussion on the experiences of Arab youth in integrating creativity with a commitment to the participation of elite voices; Maha Jaafar, Sudanese-Iraqi blogger, and Idrissi, director of music clips and founder of the Mastaba channel, and Big Hass, and the creator of the first hip-hop radio program on the wave in Saudi Arabia.

The event also includes a special concert by Habibi Funk, a project that addresses musical works by former artists from different Arab countries and re-presents them in a new style.

All activities are organized from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
