The report "UN and darkening" was sent in November 2018. It revealed how the UN's top management has darkened crucial information about the murder of Swedish UN expert Zaida Catalán and her US colleague Michael Sharp 2017 in the Congo.

Reportedly won an Emmy in the Current Affairs category.

- Extremely fun to win and at the same time a difficult experience because it is about a murder that was so brutal, says producer Axel Gordh Humlesjö, who was nominated together with reporter Ali Fegan and photographer and clipper Ola Christoffersson.

He continues:

- But at the same time so important as this can put pressure on the UN to try to get further into the blame question of who ordered the murder of Zaida and Michael.

The review was a collaboration between Assignment Review, German Süddeutsche Zeitung, French Le Monde, Radio France International and US Foreign Policy Magazine.

The report had a major impact internationally and after the publication a Congolese colonel - whom Assignment Review revealed had lied in court.
