Yangtze River Delta Railway carries more than 17 million passengers during Spring Festival holiday. On average, more than 2.15 million passengers were sent, an increase of more than 60% compared with the same period in 2019.
The railway department predicts that the return passenger flow will continue before the 15th day of the first lunar month. Since the Spring Festival travel rush, the Yangtze river Delta Railway has operated a total of 6,794 additional passenger trains and organized 4,551 EMU train reconnections.
