Yangtze Maritime opens up “green channel” for passenger and cargo transportation waterways. Since the Spring Festival this year, the Yangtze River Maritime Safety Department has dispatched more than 5,700 law enforcement officers and conducted more than 1,600 inspections of passenger ferries and steam ferries.

The number of ships and more than 12 million tons of ships carrying energy, grain and other key supplies were safe and smooth. Due to congestion on some highway sections and river-crossing bridges, ferries in Jingzhou, Yueyang have experienced peak pre-holiday traffic and passenger flows returning home.
