  Since February 3, the Yangtze River Maritime Safety Department has strengthened meteorological water traffic safety warnings, organized Yichang, Jingzhou, Yueyang, Wuhan, Huangshi and other maritime bureaus to launch blizzard level three and level two safety warnings, and promptly issued low-temperature rain and snow through various forms Freezing weather warning information reminds ships to pay close attention to weather changes, take early precautions, strengthen duty, and ensure safety; at the same time, they continue to pay attention to the weather conditions in various areas under their jurisdiction, take joint control measures, and do a good job in water traffic control and dredging.

  For key material transport ships, the Yangtze River Maritime Department has opened a "green channel" for key ships and implemented the "five priority" service measures: priority is to verify the ship's entry and exit report information; priority is to handle the declaration and approval procedures for ships' dangerous goods entry and exit; priority is arranged according to application On-site maintenance; priority in arranging pilot services; priority in arranging gate security inspections, and making every effort to ensure the efficient transportation of key materials such as food, energy, and medical care.

  Due to congestion on some highway sections and river-crossing bridges, ferries in Jingzhou, Yueyang and other places along the Yangtze River trunk line have experienced peak pre-holiday traffic and passenger flows returning home. The Yangtze River Maritime Affairs Department has strengthened on-site presence and transportation organization at key ferries and docks, and worked with local transportation departments to extend ferry transportation times, optimize transportation capacity allocation, do a good job in order maintenance, thawing and anti-skid work, and launch the Yueyang Xinshazhou, Jiangnan, and Xinhe steam ferries. Several ferries have temporarily resumed service, and Jingzhou Shashi and other steam ferries have not stopped operating 24 hours a day to carry out vehicle rush transportation.

  It is understood that since the Spring Festival this year, the Yangtze River Maritime Safety Department has dispatched more than 5,700 law enforcement officers and conducted more than 1,600 inspections of passenger ferries and steam ferries, ensuring the safe transportation of 1.1 million passengers and 160,000 vehicles, and ensuring the safety of more than 7,200 passenger ferries.
