Wide-area robbery Hiroshima case defendant sentenced to 20 years in prison at Tokyo District Court. The defendant, Yusei Nishimoto (23), broke into a house in Nishi Ward, Hiroshima City in December 2017, which also served as a luxury watch store.
He stole about 26 million yen worth of cash and other items, and injured three people. He was charged with robbery and bodily injury as the perpetrator of three incidents. In the Hiroshima incident, he caused very serious injuries that left him with brain damage.
