[HIGHLIGHTS] Weather in Germany: Temperatures of up to 18 degrees expected

German Weather Service expects local highs of up to 18 degrees on the Rhine and Neckar. In the south it is expected to stay sunny and dry for longer between loose cloud fields.

Temperatures drop to 11 to 5 degrees, in the south and southeast to 5 to 0 degrees. This year's February was generally unusually warm, the DWD said. It "could be one of the warmest in its class,” said meteorologist Adrian Leyser from DWD in Offenbach.
