A 45-year-old man died in an accident involving a carnival float in Venlo, the Netherlands. He was trapped when the car was being reversed into a hall.
Rescue workers arrived and a helicopter was also used. But they were unable to revive the man. The tractor driver who wanted to maneuver the float into the hall was temporarily arrested. The man was standing on the car with other members of the carnival club and may have bent down too late when he rolled the car.
