Two male suspects in their 20s are suspected of assaulting a 41-year-old man to death in downtown Shibuya, Tokyo. The two men assaulted Shoichi Takeuchi by punching and kicking him multiple times in the face and head.
Mr. Takeuchi did not want to be taken to the hospital at the time, but his condition worsened and he passed away about three weeks later. The men were not acquainted with Takeuchi, and upon investigation they admitted to the charges and made statements such as, ``I had been drinking and I got mad and did it.''
