Two men hit by train, one dead, the other unconscious Iwakura, Aichi. Police are investigating the possibility that another man was involved in the accident while trying to rescue an elderly man.
Masatoshi Yamaguchi (80), a resident of Iwakura City, died at the hospital where he was transported, and Hidetoshi Baba (64) was in a critical condition, unconscious. The site is approximately 750 meters south of Meitetsu Iwakura Station, and the railroad crossing was equipped with warning devices and barriers.
