Two company presidents arrested on suspicion of trying to fraudulently obtain refunds by evading consumption tax. The two avoided approximately 1.3 million yen in consumption tax in the year up to October 2021 by recording fictitious purchases.

The company made it appear that it had purchased an aircraft hangar owned by an unregistered company from a third party. According to sources, the two men denied the charges when interviewed voluntarily before their arrest. It is expected that the detailed circumstances will be investigated.
