This year’s Spring Festival transport Qiongzhou Strait ushered in a record transportation peak. With the volume reaching a new high, the queuing time has been significantly reduced year-on-year.
The return peak is about to begin, coupled with periodic heavy fog and other bad weather. The Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation stated that it will continue to strengthen safety management, monitoring and early warning, capacity coordination, emergency response and land transportation organization and management. It is expected the return peak will be on February 16th and 17th.
