The total investment in post-disaster recovery and reconstruction of Beijing Water Affairs exceeds 140 billion yuan. In three years, 96 projects have been comprehensively upgraded.

Fangshan District and Mentougou District of Beijing were the most severely affected by the "23·7" basin-wide catastrophic flood. In the first quarter, the city's key water supply projects are expected to complete investment of 430 million yuan, and new projects will also start construction in the second quarter. After they are completed and put into operation, Beijing will have an additional water supply capacity of 250,000 cubic meters per day.
