The Qiongzhou Strait will enter the return peak today and is expected to peak on the seventh and eighth day of the Lunar New Year. The daily number of passengers transported will exceed 160,000 and the number of vehicles will exceed 40,000.
As of February 11, there were 2.11 million passengers and 485,000 vehicles in and out of the Qionzhou Strait, a year-on-year increase of 32.75% and 16.78% respectively. Vehicle and passenger traffic on both sides of the Taiwan Strait continue to run at high levels.
