The large-scale Amdo Tibetan opera "Princess of Jincheng" premiered at the Qinghai Grand Theatre in Xining, Qinghai Province. The play takes the incident of the second princess of the Tang Dynasty entering Tibet, marrying Tubo as the historical background.
The Qinghai Tibetan Opera Troupe and Huangnan Prefecture National Song and Dance Troupe were founded in 1965, approved as the national intangible cultural heritage "Huangnan Tibetan Opera" project protection and implementation unit in 2008.
