The 14th Beijing International Film Festival (referred to as "Beijing Film Festival") will be held in Beijing from April 18 to 26 this year. This year's Beijing Film Festival invited Brazil as the guest country and added a Diplomat Film Season to use film as a medium to promote international film and television exchanges.
Ambassadors from the Embassy of Brazil in China and other embassies of the countries where the shortlisted film creators and key guests belong will come to Beijing for exchanges. For the first time, three centralized movie-viewing belts will be created along Chang'an Avenue, the Western University Movie-watching Belt, and the Northern Movie- Watching Belt.
