Tanker capsizes off the coast of Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, killing 8 people; search continues for 2 missing persons. There were 11 people on board the tanker, including 8 Indonesians, 2 Koreans, and 1 Chinese, and 9 people have been rescued near the scene.

The Japan Coast Guard is continuing to search for the two remaining crew members on patrol boats and other vehicles. It is said that the ship had lowered its anchor and was moored in the sea near the site. It was carrying 980 tons of acrylic acid, but no leakage has been confirmed so far.
