Taisei Corporation agrees to pay 1.6 billion yen in penalty due to delays in rebuilding Setagaya Ward Office. The rebuilding work was originally scheduled to be completed in October 2027.
Taisei made a mistake in the schedule and was delayed, so it is currently scheduled tobe completed between April and June 2029. The company has also agreed to pay compensation for damages such as the rent for the temporary government building used during construction, and the amount will be determined in the future.
