The Taiga Drama Museum opened in Otsu City on the 29th. Visitors can enjoy the worldview of NHK's taiga drama "Hikaru Kimi e'', displaying costumes and other items used in the drama.
The museum was built in a building on the grounds of Ishiyamadera Temple. Murasaki Shikibu, the main character of the drama, is said to have formulated the idea for ``The Tale of Genji'' The museum will be open until the end of January next year.
