Fire in Thuringian refugee accommodation caused by humans, according to police. Police said a technical defect could be ruled out in the fire in an initial reception center in Suhl.
Whether the fire was caused intentionally or accidentally remains under investigation. The six injured were residents and security guards. They were taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation. According to police, 400 to 500 people were taken out of the affected building. Around 100 of them could not return to their rooms and were supposed to be taken to another accommodation in the country in Hermsdorf.
