Fire in the initial reception center in Suhl, Thuringia

According to the police, the fire in the Suhl state initial reception center with six injuries was caused by a person.
A technical defect could be ruled out after the criminal police investigated the scene of the fire, the police said.
It is currently being investigated whether the fire in a room was caused accidentally or intentionally.
Among other things, surveys were carried out.
The six injured were residents and security guards.
They were taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation.
On Thursday, a room on the fourth floor of the facility was completely burned out.
According to police, 400 to 500 people were then taken out of the affected building.
Around 100 of them could not return to their rooms and were supposed to be taken to another accommodation in the country in Hermsdorf.
According to the Interior Ministry, the entire fourth floor of the Suhl building needs to be cleaned.
