Storms have caused power outages and flooding in parts of France. Residential buildings had to be evacuated in some areas and a kayaker is also missing.
Around 1,500 people have no access to water in Pontoise. The floodwaters are already supposed to be receding, according to the prefecture of the city of Limoges. In the southeastern Rhône-Alpes, fallen branches and fallen trees cut off power to 6,000 households on Saturday morning, as French media reported.
