Jean-Louis Murat, known for his titles "Viva Calexico" or "Fort Alamo" is dead. The songwriter, born on January 28, 1954 in Chamalières in the Puy-de-Dôme, Auvergne, published about thirty albums during his career.

His groove and his throbbing voice so particular as well as his independence tinged with provocation have made him an artist apart in the French musical world. More info to come.
