Residents of the Beach camp in Gaza prepare squares near mosques in preparation for the month of Ramadan. A camp resident told Al Jazeera that they will perform prayers in these squares instead of the destroyed mosques.

One of the participants in preparing the squares went on to confirm that they would not leave their land, regardless of the circumstances or pressures, “because whoever clings to his religion is clinging to his homeland’ . The squares will be used to celebrate the arrival of Ramadan despite the sorrows, pain, destruction and graves of martyrs that are found in some of these squares.
