Ravensburg district: Nine-year-old dies in accident with horse. A boy led a horse on a rope in Bad Wurzach.
When the animal shied away, it dragged the child several hundred meters - with fatal consequences. The boy suffered, among other things, serious head injuries and died at the scene of the accident, it was said. For reasons that are still unclear, the horse shied on Sunday, bolted and dragged the nine- year-old several hundred metres away.
