A nine-year-old boy was killed in an accident involving a horse in the Ravensburg district. According to police on Monday, the child led the animal with a rope tied around its stomach and walked alongside it on foot. The accident occurred in Bad Wurzach in Baden-Württemberg.
For reasons that are still unclear, the horse shied on Sunday, bolted and dragged the nine-year-old several hundred meters away. The boy suffered, among other things, serious head injuries and died at the scene of the accident, it was said.
