The attorney general, Álvaro García Ortiz, will have to decide this Thursday if his career as a public official is marked forever by having starred in a democratic indecency. The vast majority of members of the Fiscal Council will be against it, but, since their opinion is not binding, their responsibility will be to prevent this arbitrariness from being committed.
