Prague: Woman survives fall into 15 meter deep shaft. She fell into it on Friday at around 11 p.m.
- for reasons that are still unclear. The fire department rescued her from a depth of around 15 meters using mountaineering equipment. The woman was taken to hospital with multiple injuries and is in a stable condition, police say. The aim was to clarify whether someone had removed the manhole cover on the side of the road or how else the accident could have happened.
