Piano played by Einstein returns to hotel after repair in Nara. Einstein, the world-renowned physicist, played on his first visit to Japan in 1922.

It has been more than 100 years since the piano was manufactured, and its parts had deteriorated significantly. A major repair was carried out to replace a part called the hammer, which plays a major role in the tone. The hotel will also hold concerts by professional pianists so that as many people as possible can enjoy the new tones.
