After completing repairs to the piano that world-famous physicist Einstein played, it returned to the hotel in Nara City where it had been on display for the first time in two weeks on the 7th.

Nara Hotel, a long-established hotel in Nara City, has on display the piano that Einstein, the world-renowned physicist, played on his first visit to Japan in 1922.

It has been more than 100 years since the piano was manufactured, and its parts had deteriorated significantly, so on the 17th of last month, a major repair was carried out to replace a part called the hammer, which plays a major role in the tone.

The piano returned to the hotel on the 7th after approximately two weeks of repairs, and employees were playing the keys to confirm the new tone.

Akane Tsugawa, who is in charge of public relations at the Nara Hotel, said, ``Due to the repairs, the piano now has a modern, lively sound. We will be planning concerts and events using this piano, so we hope people will enjoy the new tone.'' I did.

The hotel will also hold concerts by professional pianists so that as many people as possible can enjoy the new tones.
