Drugs were found in a boat flying the Liberian flag in the northern port city of Paita, near the border with Ecuador. The drugs were hidden in 50 brick-sized packets, each with a swastika on them, according to police.

Peru is considered the largest cocaine producer in the world after Colombia and is considered an important hub for drug smuggling to the U.S. and Europe. The police have not yet provided any information on whether there have been any arrests, but say the drugs were probably destined for Belgium.
