Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications Nishida apologizes for confirming relationships with former Unification Church-related organizations. Nishida revealed at the House of Representatives General Affairs Committee that nine years ago, when he was a member of the Ishikawa Prefectural Assembly, he had participated in an event affiliated with the former Unify Church.
He apologized for not confirming his statement that there was no relationship. He said he would like to make sure to sever ties with them.
