23-year-old was noticed on a train without a ticket, as the federal police in Erfurt announced. During the subsequent personal check, a federal police officer noticed the handle of a weapon on the man's backpack.
It was a revolver loaded with six hard rubber bullets. The weapon was seized and unloaded. The man was then allowed to leave the office without his weapon. He is being investigated for fraudulently obtaining benefits and for violating the weapons law. hba/dpa.
