Passers-by lift car and help 31-year-old woman who had fallen under a car. Woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries, police said.
Police are investigating the 82- year-old driver on suspicion of negligent bodily harm. The woman was walking on the sidewalk as a pedestrian when the accident occurred in Munich, Bavaria, on Thursday. The driver confused the accelerator and brake while turning and drove straight onto the sidewalk and hit the woman who came under the car.
