After an accident in Munich, passers-by rescued a woman who had fallen under a car. The 31-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries, police said.
According to reports, the woman was walking on the sidewalk as a pedestrian on Thursday when an 82-year-old driver confused the accelerator and brake while turning. She drove straight onto the sidewalk and hit the woman who came under the car. Several passers-by rushed over and lifted the car.
The police are investigating the 82-year-old on suspicion of negligent bodily harm.
