Rachid Hafassa, interpreter of Karim Fedala in the cult Marseille soap opera, was arrested last Wednesday March 27 in the 7th arrondissement of the Marseille city. The actor, in a drunken state, also allegedly uttered racist insults towards the bus driver of Comorian origin.
He remains presumed innocent until proven guilty. The production of Plus belle la vie recently announced that it would pay tribute to him in special episodes broadcast next June. The plot will focus on the disappearance of his character, Abdel Fedala.
