More beautiful life: a star actor of the series placed in police custody in Marseille

know his face. Rachid Hafassa, interpreter of Karim Fedala in the cult Marseille soap opera, was arrested last Wednesday March 27 in the 7th arrondissement of the Marseille city.

Racist insults

According to information from

, the actor was arrested by the police after hitting a line 80 bus driver. The victim, transported to the emergency room, accuses Rachid Hafassa of having punched him twice. The actor, in a drunken state, also allegedly uttered racist insults towards the bus driver of Comorian origin. Rachid Hafassa was taken into police custody and the victim filed a complaint. He remains presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Rachid Hafassa played for more than ten years the role of Karim Fedala, Abdel's father, played by Marwan Berreni. The latter killed himself last summer following a car accident involving his vehicle. The production of

recently announced that it would pay tribute to him in special episodes broadcast next June. The plot will thus focus on the disappearance of his character, Abdel Fedala. 

Its history will be linked to that of the collapse of the buildings in the Mistral district. “Returning to these collapses is also a way for us to evoke the disappearance of Abdel Fedala.
