A car crashed into a gate at Buckingham Palace in London on Sunday night. A man was arrested on suspicion of property damage and taken to a hospital.
There were no reports of injuries. The palace in the heart of the British capital is monitored around the clock by armed officers. There had been several break-in attempts in the past, including one in September 2023, when a 25-year-old was arrested after trying to get into the palace stables. The driver of the car has not yet been identified.
