15 human skulls and numerous other bones were found in the Lippe Valley in North Rhine-Westphalia. The remains were uncovered in the ground during construction work after a house was demolished.

The police confiscated them and the Soest criminal police began investigating their origin. Experts from forensic medicine from Dortmund should examine the skulls and bones more closely on Thursday in order to obtain further information. The bones are believed to be at least 40 to 50 years old, according to an initial assessment.
