15 human skulls and numerous other bones were found in the Lippe Valley in North Rhine-Westphalia. The police in Soest said the remains were uncovered in the ground during construction work after a house was demolished. According to an initial assessment, they are at least 40 to 50 years old.

The police confiscated them and the Soest criminal police began investigating their origin. According to the police, experts from forensic medicine from Dortmund should examine the skulls and bones more closely on Thursday in order to obtain further information.
