Leipzig: Two dead after fire in prefabricated building. One person was seriously injured.
The fire broke out in an apartment around 3 a.m. for an unknown reason. Because of the heavy smoke, all residents of the apartment building had to leave the building. The identity of the victims is still unclear. An autopsy was carried out and the first results are not expected until next week at the earliest. The public prosecutor's office has taken over the investigation. A fire investigator is at the scene.
