There have been a series of problems in which another person's certificate is issued in a system that uses My Number cards. Fujitsu President Takahito Tokita apologized for the problem.
The system will be shut down until the 4th of next month at the latest and a new committee will be set up to deal with the issue. The company has also set up a special committee to strengthen quality control of the system. The committee will meet monthly to address any problems that may arise in the future. It has been set up by Fujitsu's subsidiaries.
