House fire in Hanamaki, Iwate; two bodies found in the ruins: a woman in her 90s and her son. Six fire engines were dispatched to extinguish the fire, and the fire was extinguished after about five and a half hours.
A two-story wooden house and a warehouse were completely destroyed by the fire. Police believe that the bodies are Sachiko Sasaki (92), who lives in the house, and her. son, who was visiting the house at the time.
