Mako visited the Fudo Children's Garden in Yahaba Town, where she was greeted by about 130 children. The horses, dressed in decorations as if they were in the real world, entered the garden with the sound of bells.
Chagu Chagu Mako is a traditional event in which gorgeously decorated horses parade through Morioka City, and will be held on the following Saturday, the 10th of this month. The children said, "I was a little scared, but I was able to eat carrots properly."
