A test ride event was held for the general public between Kanazawa and Tsuruga on the Hokuriku Shinkansen. About 2,000 people will be selected by lottery out of a 75-to-1 application ratio to experience the ride.
The new section of the train will open on the 16th of next month, allowing passengers to get an early taste of the new section. The test ride will be held for two days, on the 3rd and 4th, and will make a round trip.
