The Japan Coast Guard is reevaluating the same fixed-wing aircraft as the accident plane. The duty of coast guard officers assigned to Haneda Air Base has been suspended.

Officials confirmed that they have been able to provide mental health care to pilots, mechanics, and other related personnel. Pilots have been training using aircraft from Chitose Air Base since March 7 in preparation for resuming flight duties. If there is not enough aircraft, aircraft from nearby bases will continue to be used.
