In response to the collision that occurred at Haneda Airport, the Japan Coast Guard suspended security officers from Haneda Air Base from flying the same fixed-wing aircraft as the accident aircraft, but they provided mental health care and ensured safe operation. We have confirmed the system and will reopen on the 28th.

Following a collision with a Japan Airlines passenger plane that occurred on the runway at Haneda Airport in January, the Japan Coast Guard is currently reevaluating the same fixed-wing aircraft as the accident plane in order to reconfirm its safety and provide mental health care. Regarding this, the duty of coast guard officers assigned to Haneda Air Base has been suspended.

According to officials, preparations have been made for the resumption of flight operations, but on the 28th, they confirmed that they have been able to provide mental health care to pilots, mechanics, and other related personnel, and that they have established a system for safe flight operations. I have decided to resume my flight duties.

Pilots at Haneda Air Base have been training using aircraft from Chitose Air Base since March 7 in preparation for resuming flight duties.

Haneda Air Base originally had four fixed-wing aircraft, but due to accidents and maintenance, only one aircraft is currently operational. If there is not enough aircraft, aircraft from nearby bases will continue to be used. It means using it to cover it.

At Haneda Air Base, on March 1, affiliated coast guard officers resumed operating helicopters.
