Guangxi garden workers "played" with dead branches and fallen leaves, turning the park into a "zoo" in seconds. The body of the "Owl" is a piece of pine; its wings are cattail leaves; its feet are unblooming pine cones; its eyes are a combination of buttons and brushes.
They are all designed by garden worker Li Wei. With a hot-melt glue gun, a saw and other simple tools, Li Wei can complete a discarded plant craft in less than two days on average.
