Funeral home in Saitama: Funeral after mixing up body; bereaved family realizes after cremation. The company that made the mistake of mixing up the bodies was Tear, a company headquartered in Nagoya that operates funeral services in 12 prefectures across the country.
According to the company, there was a mix-up when the body was being transported from the place where it had been kept for the funeral. Although the coffins had name tags placed on them, the company apologized to each of the bereaved families.
