Former NHK announcer Kenji Suzuki dies at age 95. Suzuki was born in Tokyo in 1929 and joined NHK as an announcer in 1952.

He has gained popularity for his uninterrupted explanations, which have been called 'Suzuki storytelling' His book 'Kikubari no Susume'', which describes the importance of careful consideration, became a bestseller. He also served as director of the Kumamoto Prefectural Theater and the Aomori prefectural Library after retiring from NHK.
